Biography

Jane has considerable business management and industry experience. Prior to joining UCL in 1995 Jane worked for BT plc where she was responsible for managing a range of businesses and new product development projects, including mobile communications products and services and cordless telephones. She also worked on corporate culture change and business process re-engineering programmes. Jane has also previously worked as a consultant and has been an advisor to the Association for Project Management (APM) on the development of its professional qualifications and associated examinations. Jane is a qualified teacher in higher education (PGCE PCET) and was the inaugural winner of Management School’s Teaching Excellence Award, 2010. Jane is a Fellow of Association for Project Management (FAPM), a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), a Certified Member of the Market Research Society (CMRS) and a Certified Member of the Association for Learning Technology (CMALT).Jane is Chair of the School of Management’s Academic Misconduct Panel.

Winner of Provost’s Teaching Award 2016 for Outstanding Contribution to Teaching and Learning at UCL.
