17:15 – 18:15
Description

UCL Innovation and Enterprise invites you to attend a guest lecture from Harry Nelis, Accel.

At Innovation and Enterprise guest lectures, entrepreneurs from all stages of the journey share their experiences and lessons learned. Tonight’s speaker is Harry Nelis, a partner at Accel, an American venture capital firm helping start-ups from inception through growth.

If you’re interested in hearing how entrepreneurship works on the ground, rather than in theory, join Innovation and Enterprise for their guest lecture series on entrepreneurship.

Harry Nelis, a partner at Accel, focuses on consumer internet, financial services and software companies. He started his career as an engineer at Hewlett-Packard before founding the venture-backed software company E-motion. Since then, he’s led Accel’s investments in CHECK24, Funding Circle, KAYAK, Showroomprive, WorldRemit and others.

Entrepreneurship guest lectures are held on Thursdays from 5:15 to 6:15pm, and followed by networking drinks.

The lectures are open to all. They’re free and you don’t need to pre-book - just turn up.
