Description

In this short seminar, you will learn about the craft of theory development in general – and about publishing in the Academy of Management Review (AMR) more specifically. The seminar will cover basic facts and statistics about AMR. Seminar participants will learn what it takes to publish in AMR, and, in particular, what it means to make a novel and significant theoretical contribution. Moreover, participants will learn the most frequent reasons submitted papers are rejected and how to avoid these common mistakes. The intended audience includes doctoral students and interested faculty in management or related areas.
