MSI Society Guest Lecture: Prof. Steve Evans (Cambridge Univ)

Speaker

Professor Steve Evans, University of Cambridge

Date

Tuesday, 14 October 2014
17:00 – 18:30
Location
Bentham House: Denys Holland Lecture Theatre (B31)
Description

The event does not only highlight the importance of CSR in industrial sustainability, but also addresses the issues of business ethics and finite resources. This is done by attempting to answer the question of how will we trade or even produce when the raw materials are gone.

Professor Steve Evans is the Director of the Centre of Industrial Sustainability at Cambridge University. In over 50 published journals and researches, as a leader of the first UK EPSRC research projects, and as a consultant to leading companies including Airbus, Professor Evans has demonstrated pragmatic methods of reducing environmental impacts and promoting sustainability in businesses and industries.
