UCL School of Management’s careers team recently hosted an exclusive event for BSc/MSci Management Science students on UCL’s Bloomsbury Campus that welcomed a panel of experts from a range of industries to meet and share their insights with students. The event also saw the return of dozens of UCL School of Management alumni, who are now working at leading global firms, including Microsoft, Morgan Stanley and the Financial Times.
Entitled ‘Tomorrow’s Complex World Requires All Leaders To Be Entrepreneurial’, the event was opened by Management Science Programme Director Andrew Whiter, which then lead to a panel discussion moderated by UCL School of Management Associate Professor Colin Fisher.
On the night, we were delighted to welcome Afua Keyi, Chief Financial Officer at Bank of England, Rawdon Glover, Managing Director at Jaguar, Fiona Reach Canning, Co-Founder and CEO of Pollinate International, Shubhen Chitnis, Partner at IMB iX, as well as UCL School of Management’s very own Director Davide Ravasi.
The panellists explored the significance of adaptability in the modern business world and the ways in which entrepreneurial skills can play a key role in leaders remaining at the forefront of change.
