UCL School of Management hosts first-ever British edition of Common Home

On 21 May 2025, UCL School of Management welcomed Common Home, a global forum founded in 2022 by Assoholding and the Regenerative Marketing Institute for the first-ever British edition of the event. This year, the theme centred upon ‘Regenerating the Common Good’, and brought together more than 20 international speakers on Level 50 of One Canada Square to address challenges of sustainability, innovation and the pursuit of common good.

On the day, UCL School of Management was delighted to welcome expert thought leaders Philip Kotler and Christian Sakar – among many others – to explore the ways in which purpose-driven business and regenerative thinking can shape more sustainable and inclusive futures. For Philip Kotler, this is a pressing issue facing organisations, stating, ‘If we don’t change course now, the alternative is extinction’.

The Common Home event, now in its fourth year, also welcomed scholars, decision-makers and change-makers from an array of areas, including academic, political, economic and cultural. Enrico Foglia, Director of the Regenerative Marketing Institute, opened the event, together with Lorenzo, Echeoni, Executive Director of Assoholding and Edoardo De Vito, President of Delta Holdings Association.

The event also saw our very own Professor and UCL School of Management Deputy Director Paolo Taticchi deliver a keynote speech on “The Next Practice of Sustainable Business’, designed to help organisations find innovative ways to incorporate sustainability into operations. Philip Kotler and Christian Sarkar also explored their book entitled Wicked Problems: Why is Nothing Happening?
