the alumni advisory council
I would like to start by wishing you all a very Happy and Prosperous New Year! I am delighted to share the first update from your Alumni Advisory Council for 24-25.
This year, three new members joined us, and I would like to congratulate them again on their appointment to the Council.
The Alumni Advisory Council has been working collectively with the School of Management to build and deliver projects to elevate our alumni experience.
We are focusing our efforts on two new initiatives which we believe will offer you the opportunity to connect with your community whilst exploring ongoing developments in your respective fields.
Firstly, we are introducing a ‘The Future of Work’ network, bringing together professionals, thought leaders, and industry experts to discuss emerging trends, workplace innovations, and the impact of automation, artificial intelligence, and other technologies on careers and workforce dynamics.
Secondly, we are launching a Financial Sector interest group. As technology, regulatory changes, and global trends continue to shape industry developments, the group will provide a space to explore key challenges, opportunities, and innovations shaping the future of finance.
To be the first to hear about the latest developments, we would strongly recommend that you join the UCL School of Management Alumni LinkedIn Group and regularly check the events page to stay up-to-date.
Looking further ahead, the Council are supporting the School of Management Alumni Reunion which will take place on Saturday 31 May 2025 on Level 50, One Canada Square.
I can’t wait to meet you at these upcoming events and look forward to engaging in meaningful discussions with our fantastic community throughout the year.
