The UCL School of Management Student Hardship Fund is a vital initiative aimed at providing crucial financial support to students who are facing unexpected financial difficulties during their time at UCL.
The fund has been created to help alleviate the burden of unexpected expenses such as emergency medical bills, travel expenses, or other unforeseen costs that can make it difficult for students to continue their studies without financial assistance.
We will raise money for the Hardship Fund through donations from alumni, faculty, staff, and other supporters of the School of Management, as well as through fundraising events and partnerships with local businesses and organisations.
The fund will be distributed on a case-by-case basis, with applications for support reviewed by a committee of UCL School of Management staff members to ensure that funds are allocated to those who need them most. Our goal is to support as many students as possible in their time of need, and we work hard to ensure that funds are allocated fairly and transparently.
These statistics highlight the significant financial challenges that many students in the UK face, and the importance of initiatives such as hardship funds in providing crucial support to those who need it most.
How to get involved
Through donations from our community, we can continue to provide essential financial assistance to our students in need, helping them to overcome challenges and continue their academic journey at UCL. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and can help ensure they have the necessary resources to complete their studies and take advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead for them.
We thank all of our donors for their incredible generosity and compassion in supporting our students during their time of need.
