Teaching & Learning Administrator - Internal UCL/Secondment Applications Only

About the role

This post is split across two programmes. The post holder will support the MSc Management (80%) and the UCL MBA with Peking University programme (20%). The post holder will provide comprehensive support to teaching and learning activities on the MSc Management Programme, covering the full student lifecycle, including applicant and current student queries, recruitment and admissions, induction, module enrolment and assessment and examination administration, ensuring effective procedures are documented and implemented. The post holder will also assist the Programme Administrator with aspects of the MBA programme, which is predominantly taught at Peking University (PKU). This post will assist in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students and staff relating to the designated modules/programmes and beyond, including supporting committees and quality assurance processes.

Please note that this is a fixed-term/secondment contract, open to UCL internal applicants only.

About you

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following criteria:

  • Experience of administration in higher/further education or a teaching and learning environment.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (Including Mathematics and English Language) or equivalent,
  • or having acquired relevant experience.
  • Educated to A level standard, or equivalent experience such as report writing.
  • Computer literate with strong skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to deal politely and effectively with a wide range of people in a teaching and learning context.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to develop effective relationships, work confidently and diplomatically with people at all levels.
  • High degree of literacy and numeracy and ability to draft correspondence and reports clearly and succinctly.
