UCL School of Management was thrilled to host the very first IMB University Challenge on Level 50 on Wednesday 22 January. Teams of current students and alumni from our BSc Information Management for Business programme went head to head in a series of fast-paced question rounds to win the coveted trophy.
The questions covered a wide range of topics, including the buildings and campus of UCL, notable alumni, and the various TV programmes and films that have been filmed around UCL. The competition was fierce and teams demonstrated impressive knowledge as the quiz progressed. Ultimately, the Board of Directors were crowned the winners, closely followed by Factually Flawless in second place.
Once the quiz was complete, students, alumni, and staff had the opportunity to relax in the glamorous surroundings of Canary Wharf, with the stunning night-time vista outside the windows. Throughout the evening, there was a buzz of conversation as connections were made, advice was dispensed, and plans were formed. This event provided a wonderful opportunity to socialise with friends, both new and old, and to forge new professional relationships.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff involved in organising this event. Their hard work and dedication made the evening a resounding success. The evening has already led to a flurry of new LinkedIn connections, and we are looking forward to more events like this in the future.
It was a privilege to welcome such an incredible group of people to these surroundings, and we are excited about the potential for future gatherings that continue to foster both personal and professional growth.
