Biography

Dina Ghanma (she/her) is a Lecturer in Finance at the ICMA Centre, Henley Business School, University of Reading. She is also a Teaching Assistant and MSc Finance dissertation consultant at UCL’s School of Management. Since starting at the SoM in 2020, Dina has been an integral part of the marking teams for a variety of modules, including Mergers and Valuations, Corporate Financial Strategy, Hedge Fund Strategies, and Investment Management. She has also supervised research for MSc Finance dissertations on several topics, including Ethical Finance, Financial Crises, Digital Banking, and Volatility Modelling.

Dina obtained her BSc in Finance and Investment Banking as well as her MSc in Financial Research from the ICMA Centre, where she is currently completing her PhD in Responsible Finance during Times of Crisis. Her past teaching activities include seminar convenorship for modules like Financial Econometrics, Portfolio Management, and Securities, Futures and Options. She was also a Sessional Lecturer in Finance at Northeastern Univeristy (NCH London). Dina has won multiple teaching awards based on student nominations, where her keen engagement and high-level subject area expertise were regularly commended.
