Biography

Danusia is a senior teaching fellow within the School of Management and joined UCL in September 2017. Danusia is also part of the team delivering the MSc Professional Accountancy, providing the academic direction of the School’s pivotal role in a venture between ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and the University of London. This venture sees the first-ever Masters Programme integrated with a prestigious professional qualification delivered on-line to a global audience.

Danusia currently specialises in Financial Accounting and Reporting, with interests in Strategic Performance Management and Coaching. Previously an external examiner for ICSA and contributor to PQ Magazine, Danusia also worked as a Qualified Accountant for a number of years in both practice and industry running in-house Finance teams and managing her own business consultancy before becoming an academic. Danusia’s commercial expertise enables her to draw on personal experience and to bring real-world, practical examples and case studies into the learning environment.

In her spare time Danusia enjoys camping, yoga and wild swimming where she can, (but not all at once!) and is an avid reader of crime-thriller and adventure related books. Danusia also plays netball for her local team and likes nothing more than a good weekend walk with her family and pet pug.
