Biography

Ellen is a former banker, who worked in China for more than 20 years. There she established the securities sales and trading unit for China’s first international investment bank, and taught at leading Chinese business schools. She now teaches as a visiting academic for UK universities, serves as a board director, and researches and writes business school case studies for Hong Kong universities. Previously, Ellen led new initiatives and managed risk and operations for major investment banks and financial firms in the US, UK and China.  She holds a BSc from the Wharton School, an MBA from Harvard, and the FRM financial risk qualification.
