Associate Professor (Teaching) in Business Analytics (Part-time)

About the role

The UCL School of Management is looking to appoint a dynamic and dedicated part-time Associate Professor (Education) in Business Analytics. More specifically, the School is seeking for a postholder with a record of accomplishments in teaching statistics and analytics to business and management students. Additionally, the School is looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience in preparing students to work with artificial intelligence across industries and management roles. The post-holder will be expected to deliver and assess modules at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. The postholder will also be involved in dissertation/project supervision, personal tutoring, and a range of citizenship roles within the School and/or the wider UCL. As an Associate Professor, the post-holder will i) demonstrate active engagement with the interface between research and education and its implications for teaching within the analytics arena; ii) lead projects that contribute to the high quality of the educational experience among students at UCL and elsewhere; and iii) engage with networks and reach in their area of cognate knowledge and education practice both nationally and internationally.

About you

This is a post on the Education/Teaching track and is not an academic research track post. A doctorate in the area of statistics or a related field (e.g. operations, data science) is essential.
