Description

UCL School of Management is delighted to be hosting senior delegation from 13 universities in South Korea on Thursday 04 September. Their visit is part of the Brain Korea 21 (BK21) Graduate Innovation Programme—a prestigious national initiative designed to explore partnership and innovation projects. We’re proud that the UCL School of Management will be the first stop on their two-day visit to UCL, marking the beginning of their broader engagement with UCL.

Moderated by Professor Onesun Steve Yoo, UCL School of Management’s Deputy Director, Paolo Taticchi will begin the day with an introduction to the School, touching on our expansion plans, our sustainability mission and our programmes. With MSc Business Analytics being our School’s most popular programme, delivering outcomes that allow our students to solve business problems through data, we have invited Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship Anil Doshi, and Student Projects and Development Coordinator Tracey Philipson to deliver a speech entitled ‘Business Analytics in Action: Where Learning Meets Real-World Collaboration’. Within this, Anil and Tracey will be touching on the practical ways to integrate and apply theoretical knowledge to thrive in a data-driven world.

Following this, the School’s careers team will be leading a session entitled, ‘From Guidance to Growth: Our Experience in Career and Employment Support’, which will explore the resources we provide our students including,

  • 1:1 Support
  • Online resources; CV transformation, interview guidance, psychometric and aptitude test practice, job hunting video support
  • Industry insight sessions
  • Employer-led business games and skills sessions
  • Employer presentations
  • Employer-led CV checking, mock interviews and mock assessment centres
  • Employer involvement in academic teaching
  • Access to the wider employer activity programme organised by UCL Careers
