      Description
As part of UCL’s ongoing commitment to empowering diverse voices in business, the UCL School of Management is proud to host ElevateHer 2025: Women in Entrepreneurship Day - Shattering the Glass Ceiling, aligning with the global celebration of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. Taking place on Level 50 of One Canada Square in Canary Wharf, the event will bring together students, entrepreneurs, and advocates for gender equality to celebrate women’s leadership and innovation in the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Coordinated by MSc Entrepreneurship alumna Tessa Beishuizen and School Lead for Entrepreneurship PJ Hanard, the evening will feature a panel discussion with distinguished women entrepreneurs and leaders, including Anastasia Mirolyubova, Founder of Immigram; Fiona Hudson-Kelly, Founder of Silver Linings Solutions, Founder of Not a CV and Angel Investor; and Sayaka Wakita, Senior Capital Growth & Investments Manager at Unrest. The discussion, moderated by Tessa Beishuizen, will examine how the panellists are successfully navigating the entrepreneurial landscape through breaking funding barriers, challenging investor bias, leading authentically, leveraging AI to overcome bias, and harnessing mentorship to achieve sustainable success.
The event will conclude with a networking session, offering attendees the opportunity to connect with peers, speakers, and members of the wider entrepreneurial community.
Our annual Women in Entrepreneurship Day reflects the UCL School of Management’s commitment to promoting diversity and creating opportunities for underrepresented groups in entrepreneurship. By showcasing the accomplishments of women entrepreneurs and exploring pathways to overcome systemic challenges, ElevateHer events continue to inspire the next generation of women entrepreneurs.
