About Charles Idem

I am a lifelong learner with a keen interest in technology and history. I currently work in Sales at Paystack, a payments service provider that operates across Africa. Prior to UCL, I studied Economics for my Bachelors and began my career in Management Consulting. 

My career aspiration is to use my social and academic education to create shared prosperity for my community. In my current role, this means helping my clients and colleagues achieve their goals as it relates to growing their businesses, and building the capacity to do whatever they aim to.

As a member of the AAC, my goal is to help the UCL’s School of Management achieve the aim of fostering a closer and mutually beneficial relationship between the Alumni and Students. This will primarily involve facilitating collaboration and connections for academic, career and entrepreneurial advancement, as well as creating avenues for continuous informal learning beyond the classroom.

Concurrently, I aim to enable my colleagues on the Council, as well as the Faculty and Executives of the School of Management to realise the goal of creating a system that serves students as they complete their studies at UCL, and forge careers in their chosen field.”
