We are seeking to appoint a Careers Consultant Team Leader for UCL’s School of Management. The role holder will be part of the wider UCL Careers Service, a member of The Careers Group, University of London.
Since being founded in 2007, the UCL School of Management has grown to be a world class teaching and research School. There are currently about 1200 undergraduate and postgraduate students across the two sites of the School: Bloomsbury and Canary Wharf. The School offers programmes in Management, Entrepreneurship, Information Management for Business, Management Science, Finance and Business Analytics, all with a strong emphasis on career development and support.
Alongside the UCL School of Management (SoM) Employer Engagement Manager, the role holder will be responsible for the strategic direction of careers provision for the UCL School of Management. You will be required to proactively liaise and consult with all undergraduate and postgraduate Programme Directors across SoM, using data on student aspirations and career readiness as well as knowledge gained through labour market research, to ensure that all students are being fully prepared for their future career paths.
The role holder will be responsible for leading and managing the SoM Careers Consultant team, who work with students in the different programmes across the School. You and the careers consultant team will deliver workshops, seminars and appointments for students to complement the employer-led activities facilitated by the Employer Engagement team.
