About the role

Under the overall direction of the Academic Planning Coordinator, but under daily supervision by a Programme Administrator, the post holder will provide comprehensive support for teaching and learning activities covering the full student lifecycle, including applicant and current student queries, module enrolment, attendance and engagement monitoring, assessment and examination administration, ensuring effective procedures are documented and implemented. This post will assist in achieving a high-quality and timely service to current and prospective students and staff relating to the designated modules/programmes and beyond, including supporting committees and quality assurance processes.

The role will also coordinate study materials for all School of Management programmes, and will provide specialist administration for student module feedback processes. In addition, this role will be involved with academic and quality support processes, including short qualification administration, timetabling and room bookings, ensuring effective procedures are developed and documented.

This role meets the eligibility requirements for a skilled worker certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL welcomes applications from international applicants who require a visa.

This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 40% on-site.

About you

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following criteria:

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (Including Mathematics and English Language) or equivalent, or having acquired relevant experience.

• Experience of administration in higher/further education or a teaching and learning environment

• Familiarity with online learning environments.

• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken), including the ability to deal pleasantly and effectively with a wide range of people in a teaching and learning context

• Computer literate, including Word, Excel, Outlook, shared online documents, video conferencing systems, email, and internet
