Biography

Kun Wang is a micro-OB Ph.D. student. Her current research interests include social networks, workplace interpersonal relationships, and personnel decision-making biases. Her recent publication examines how structural equivalence in knowledge-sharing networks fosters rivalry among employees, leading them to strategically distort their rivals’ perceptions (Academy of Management Journal): https://doi.org/10.5465/amj.2022.0091.

Before joining UCL, she received a B.A. in International Economy and Trade with distinction from Central South University (2019.06). She also holds an M.Phil. in Finance and Economics (2020.10) from the University of Cambridge. 

Outside of academia, Kun is also passionate about suspense films, traveling, yoga, and pomeranian.
