Congratulations to UCL School of Management academic staff who have achieved promotions to Professor and Associate Professor this year. A total of five academics have been promoted to Professor, and a further seven have been promoted to Associate Professor, effective from the 1st October 2026.

Dr Deyu Ming, Lecturer in Mathematics and Data Analytics at the UCL School of Management, has won the 2025 UCL Open Science & Scholarship Award for his work as lead developer of dgpsi, an advanced software that has helped to support AI projects at the forefront of sustainable solutions.

A funding proposal developed by UCL School of Management's Deyu Ming in collaboration with the University of Exeter, who are acting as the lead institution for the project, has been approved for the UKRI's AI4NetZero research grant which offers £2million of funding to run the project until April 2025.
